EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM
Our school provides education for elementary and secondary school students. We adhere to the Quebec Education Program of the Quebec Ministry of Education. We work directly with the Ministry, meaning we are not affiliated with any school service centre. Please note that we offer general education in French and that all students are subject to the Quebec Ministry of Education's academic standards policy. Project-based learning
We really enjoy teaching students through project-based learning. Here are some interesting activities that have been carried out at CADO in recent years:
Kiosk afternoon : This is a project in which students had to research a particular country in order to present it in the gymnasium afterwards.
Creating a family tree : As part of the history and citizenship course, students had to do research and make links between their family history and the history of Quebec.
Conferences from different professional fields : As part of the Personal Orientation Project course, several conferences were held to help students learn more about professional fields that interested them.
Reading to younger children : High school students read stories to preschool and early elementary school students. Afterwards, the students wrote their own stories, which the elementary school students then illustrated.
