When he was in the public school system, our son faced numerous difficulties with his academic performance, despite all the efforts and resources put in place: intervention plan, private learning specialist, tutoring, psychologist, etc. His self-esteem suffered, and we were very worried about his self-deprecating behavior and remarks. Our son has a superpower: the ability to see and feel things differently through his ADHD and learning disabilities. This means that the environment he is in has a huge impact on his perception and understanding. For example, having stable teachers, a zero-tolerance policy for any form of bullying, being in smaller classes, and having warm and attentive staff members make a tremendous difference in his daily life. Cado finally allows him to be himself, to flourish, and to build on his strengths, providing him with real and concrete support in his learning challenges. The staff at Cado are dedicated, attentive, and empathetic, adapting their teaching and interpersonal approach to the diverse needs of children and teenagers. They genuinely care about their well-being and development. We have our son back—playful, cheerful, and positive. A huge thank you to Cado School for giving us hope and allowing us to have a better quality of life for our son and our family .
